"The Chef"


At the heart of ‘Yes Chef Dining’ is Richard Bramble, the chef himself. He has been in the restaurant trade for over half his life, starting at the age of 15 as a pot washer and working his way through the ranks to eventually earn his status as a head chef.

Throughout his career Richard made efforts to move from kitchen to kitchen in order to broaden his skillset and take the best elements from all his experiences to become a brilliant all-rounder. With the arrival of his baby son, Richard felt it was time for a new direction and developed the concept of ‘Yes Chef Dining’.

  • Richard is a gifted chef who takes his work very seriously. He is brilliant at communication and will happily accommodate intolerances, allergies, likes and dislikes. He is always punctual and arrives with all the kit he needs to produce a wonderful mealtime. He leaves my kitchen as spick and span as when he arrived. He cleans everything up afterwards and makes the whole experience thoroughly enjoyable and so easy. Richard works with seasonal fruit and vegetables where possible and produces some beautiful menus for you to select from. It may take 2 or 3 chats to confirm the exact menu but nothing is too much trouble for him. The food is wonderful and he clearly enjoys what he does. Whilst he's in the kitchen he may be chatting to my family during the day or our guests in the evening but he doesn't seem to mind and will happily chat away whilst he cooks. He's also trustworthy as we have left him in the house to do his food prep whilst we've gone out.

    Richard is a amazing chef and I can't recommend him highly enough.

  • Following a disappointing effort from our usual business lunch supplier I decided to give Yes Chef a try and I am SO glad I did.

    The quality of the food, which is pleasing to both the eye AND the tastebuds, is outstanding and the service could not be better.  They even managed to provide the most AMAZING lunch with just an hour's notice.  I could not recommend them highly enough.

  • We contacted Richard from Yes Chef with a very last minute request to cater a gathering for 80 people. That was the day before New Year’s Eve, and the gathering was one week later. Not only did Richard ensure that all the “paper work” (menu choice, prices, contracts, etc.) were taken care of quickly and professionally, but he was available anytime for queries and arrangements, above and beyond regular working hours.

    On the day of the gathering, the quality of the food was nothing short of premium. It was fresh, some being actually prepared on-site to ensure the best possible flavor, beautifully presented and abundant. Our guests were very impressed with the food, and we received many positive comments.

    I would recommend Yes Chef anytime, and would not hesitate for a second to use their services again in the future!

Missing the sunshine ? longing for something more vibrant than your current winter dishes. Why don't you join Yes Chef Dining for a Spanish cooking class where you will have fun learning a variety of Spanish dishes and tapas for the summer ahead.

Italian Course

Spring is here, join Yes Chef Dining for a Italian cooking class where you can get the freshness out of spring by learning the staples of Italian cooking such as pasta making, sauces and much more.

Private Dining

Take a look at the sample menus and select your dishes from a one of our menus. You can chat to our chef about any further requests, dietary requirements or personal preferences. The menus on the website can always be tailored to suit the client and upgrades can be arranged.

Pay a 20% deposit to secure the date of your meal. Full payment must be made within 7 days before your dinner party.

The chef will arrive at your home a couple of hours before your meal. Most of the preparation will be done in the Yes Chef kitchen so there’s no need to worry about how large or well-equipped your own kitchen is. All he will need is a working oven and hob.

All crockery will be supplied by Yes Chef and there’s no need to wash up afterwards – it’s all part of the service!
